
From Skinny to Strong
Only a few years back, I was always the scrawniest guy in the room. I never weighed more than 155 pounds and I actually struggled to stay at that weight.
I ALWAYS WONDERED!
“why it was so hard for me to put on size like other guys my age?”
This frustration sparked a passion for learning everything about bodybuilding and strength training.
These studies have taken time. I researched and bought my first workout program online from a certified trainer in 2004, when I was 17.
Unfortunately, the program backfired.
Despite following it religiously, the results just weren’t there. I saw more fat gain than muscle growth, which left me discouraged. Weightlifting went on hold for a while.

Finding My Anchor in the Navy
Fast forward to Navy deployment. Grueling hours and endless stress called for an outlet.
That’s when I rediscovered weightlifting.
Let’s be honest, I hated it at first. But with some motivational music, I pushed through those initial weeks.
Free weights, barbells, and core work became my new routine.
And guess what?
I started to notice some results.

Slow and Steady...
For five years, I trained without any formal guidance.
Even with a flexible diet and a less-than-focused approach, I saw progress from 2007 to 2012.
By 2013, I was definitely no longer the scrawny kid,

I still craved a way to take my fitness to the

Taking Control &
Building a System
Driven by the desire to push myself further,
I started meticulously tracking my meals and workouts in 2012.
This data helped me pinpoint areas for improvement, and by the following year, I had added a respectable 5 pounds of lean muscle.
As I gained more experience weightlifting, I realized the advice from reading fitness magazines and friends that trained with me wasn’t enough to reach my goals.
I’ve always admired the great bodybuilders from the Golden Era (Steve Reeves, Sergio Olivia, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Serge Nubret, Frank Zane) for their aesthetic physiques and impressive feats of strength.
Through dedicated study of classic bodybuilding principles and experimentation with successful methods, I’ve developed a system to help others achieve their fat-loss, muscle-building, and self-confidence goals.

They taught me a valuable lesson: a one-size-fits-all approach just doesn’t work.
To truly understand weightlifting, I went back to basics. YouTube tutorials provided a solid foundation, and university research deepened my knowledge of movement and biomechanics. This focus on the science of bodybuilding allowed me to become a self-made expert, and more importantly, to empower others on their fitness journeys.
