Wires Are a Burden

The longer we become accustomed to technology in our lives, the more likely that we’ll become dissatisfied with it. The devices we use are either too slow, too complicated, or just doesn’t work as well as comparable products on the market.

Whenever problems and complaints occur too frequently, retailers of technology will make modifications to their products as a way to regain customer loyalty.

Apple’s forced solution for wireless headphone technology may not be particularly too popular right now, but the wireless transition may be one of the best changes for future smartphone innovation.

The main reason why: we already have way too many wires to deal with already.

All the electronic devices we use daily (regardless of the manufacturer) require them to be charged with some kind of power cable. Watches, phones, laptops, tablets, and other smart technology need to be charged at least once every 24 hours.

Apple, sensing a solution for convenient wireless recharging, is getting ready to release the new iPhone with this technology.

There’s a possibility that the upcoming Apple Watch 3 may have the same video capability as the iPhone, which could make working out with your smartphone a thing of the past.

Why Wireless Technology Improves Your Gym Experience

Since being released almost 2 years ago, the Apple Watch is right now the most dominate watch on the market next to Rolex. As a result, consumers are becoming more aware of its full capabilities as its slowly improved.

For clients looking for online personal training, instructional videos with proper execution of the exercises performed greatly reduces the learning curve and make working out more fun.

With the services we offer, videos are sent to your smartphone along with a training log to record and gauge your progress. Your phone is also used to take weekly progress photos of yourself during the course of the workout program.

Now imagine doing all of this with your wrist. The timer that tracks your rest time, heart and respiratory rate, and the rest of your data would now be controlled by your Apple Watch.

This could be beneficial for protecting your phone in the weight room, as there is always a chance of smashing your iPhone with a heavy dumbbell or something else when you least expect it.

Headphones

Nothing’s worse than having your headphones yanked from your ears while moving around the gym. Wired headphones are still convenient because they’re compatible with multiple devices that we still use, but the 3.5mm jack can get worn out and dysfunction after frequent use.

Wired headphones often get ruined when they’re tangled in our pockets and can destroy the fiber connections when they’re used often. Some may be willing to pay extra for headphones that can avoid this.

Wireless headphones have some more improvements to make, as Bluetooth technology hasn’t surpassed wired audio quality yet and there’s the annoying issue of charging them each day.

The Wrap Up

With wired technology becoming a thing of the past, fitness has become more convenient as more wearables are entering the market. Smartphones can help us improve our workouts by keeping track of our exercise data and watches can make this feature even better without the need for another device in the gym. As technology continues to advance, we may see more trends of smart clothing being used in gyms everywhere.
